Artist's Inspiration

Landscape means an area, as perceived by an individual, whose character is the result of the action and interaction of natural or human factors. Kaleidoscopic images can be interpreted in a variety of ways. By exploring how a variety of people experience landscapes and therefore how they perceive them.

The painting Kaleidoscope refers to a landscape form, a perception with multiple dimensions (physical/natural/symbolic/cultural/personal and collective), that becomes significant as expression of a contemporary interpretation. Its aim is to triggers a thought process to understand these values and themes with a personal reaction. It can therefore be understood as a paradigmatic experience of approach to contemporary landscape.

The working process in developing this painting over a long period of time is not just drafted but created, and then eliminating and recreated over and over to create a movement and sense of the elements tumbling.
