“The inspiration for this work comes from my own love of the ocean, coastal lifestyle and all things surf. I like to portray confident women enjoying freedom and happiness. I think surfing really epitomises this vision.

This work attempts to capture the feeling of anticipation, as the breeze blows across the hot landscape and the girls treck boldly down the steep hillside towards the swelling waves.”
