Revelation - The Rider on the White Horse
100 x 100cm
Acrylic, Oil, Spray Paint and Graphite on Raw Canvas
Unframed with painted edges
The inspiration for this painting comes directly from The Revelation of Saint John. 'I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse. Whose rider's name is Faithful and True.’ Revelation 19 v 11.
This painting is full of hidden meaning. White on white. The written word. One eye open one eye closed. The sky is crying and it opens up with two streams of light. Some of the marks depict a name written, that no one knows but He himself. White on white was a challenge but I’m happy to say this painting contains all the elements that embody The Rider on the White Horse.
