Alisa Beak captures our quiet times of exploration along the shores, discovery and the oceans senses. Thought provoking moments to contemplate and stimulate memories.  Alisa’s many years of painting, and developing her study of the coastline and its beauty, closely associates
with her own sense of nostalgia. 

Alisa’s work today has developed into a unique style and process, from utilising photography and intense drafting of compositions, her work constantly pushes boundaries and techniques. The development is time consuming, drying and layering to create the depth, and the exploration of gestural mark making, to express movement and intrigue within the painting. 

Alisa has new works presented in this exhibition that are truly breathtaking. So worth a visit to see first-hand to truly understand the technique.
