Deep knowledge or deep wisdom is not found on the surface. It is hidden and requires digging or experience or longevity to know, to comprehend and to understand.

I chose a geometrical design for this painting. The deeper you delve into mathematics and geometry the more mysterious and quantum it becomes. Artists and scientists alike have long looked for patterns in nature like the fibonacci numbers or the ability to generate a truly random number. I find it fascinating that maths and geometry, something we think is easily accessible, like 1 + 1 = 2 is, at it’s core, unreachable, unobtainable. It’s deep.

So it is also with God, Spirit, Nature, Creation. The more we find out, the less we know. Psalm 92:2, Psalm 18:11.
