These endless Sugar Pine trees felt like they reached the stars, so perfectly in line and abundant in green leaves as sweet as their name entails.
Photographed along Sugar Pine Walk, near Batlow in the NSW High Country, this was a popular and delightful little pocket of forest before it was sadly destroyed by the 2020 Australian Bushfires. Â
Unlike our hardy eucalyptus natives, they could not withstand the intense heat and now live on in memory through Look Up.
