I found these New Holland Honeyeater’s, who are adorable, energetic blurs of flittering fun, an absolute delight to paint! They have such amusing personalities to capture, being one of Australia’s most energetic birds!
Its brush-tip tongue lets it absorb all of a flower’s nectar in less than a second, extending into the nectar about 10 times per second!
