Netta is a contemporary Australian artist based in Perth, Western Australia, She grew up in the Bickley Valley and spent much of her childhood riding her horse through the many bush tracks that surrounded her house.  As a teacher with a masters degree in divergent learning styles, she has had the opportunity to teach throughout the state and overseas.

Netta is known for her expressive and emotionally resonant paintings. Working primarily with oils, acrylics and mixed media, her art captures the beauty in everyday moments and natural forms. Her pieces often feature rich textures and vibrant colours, reflecting a deep appreciation for nature and the passage of time.

Her art practice centres around her travels and her relationship to the environment. She can often be seen with her paints out on a bush track or by a river enjoying the peace and getting lost in the process.

Beyond her personal artwork, Netta has significantly contributed to her local community. She initiated the Bindaring Creative Trail in Bassendean - an open studio event that encourages local artists to share their creative spaces with the public, fostering community engagement and appreciation for the arts. Netta has been exhibiting in both solo and group exhibitions over the years.
