Daniel is a traditional oil painter residing in Wagga Wagga, NSW, focusing on capturing the essence of seascapes and landscapes that showcase the light, depth, and ambiance of Australia's natural beauty. Growing up along the coastline near Sydney and the South Coast of NSW, those formative experiences have profoundly influenced my artistic expression and continue to fuel my creativity.

My artistic path commenced at the age of ten when I began sketching everything that caught my eye. I was lucky to have my grandmother as a source of inspiration; she was a talented artist in her own right. Although I started this journey early, it was later in life that I truly committed to painting, aspiring to become a professional artist.

A significant milestone in my artistic development was my enrollment in Andrew Tischler’s Tisch Academy. Andrew is not only a celebrated artist but also a mentor who has profoundly impacted my painting style and instilled in me the courage to pursue my artistic aspirations.

Throughout the years, I’ve had the honour of displaying my creations in various galleries throughout NSW—from Sydney to the Northern Rivers, the South Coast, Tumut, and now as an artist represented by Fern Street Gallery in Kiama.  Recently, I was proud to receive a Highly Commended award at the esteemed Tumut Art Show.

In my artwork, I strive to offer more than just a visual representation; I aim to stir emotions, evoke memories, and create a sense of place for the viewer. If my paintings resonate on an emotional level or remind someone of a personal experience, then I believe I have fulfilled my artistic intent. My works are often inspired by personal memories, translated into timeless representations that are anchored in traditional realism.
